Books
The Encyclopedia of Jewelry Making Techniques
by Jinks McGrath
Hardcover – 176 pages
The Complete Metalsmith by Tim McCreight
Spiral bound – 150 pages
This is a wonderful basic book. The companion video with the same title is
invaluable for learning soldering and annealing. You can actually see the
proper colors as the metal is heated and can watch the solder flow. Not available
at Amazon.com, but Rio Grande has both the book and the video.
Jewelry Making Manual by Sylvia Wicks
Hardcover – 176 pages
The Complete Book of Jewelry Making by
Carles Codina
Hardcover – 160 pages
This is a great book.
Moods in Wire by Ellsworth “Ed”
Sinclair
Spiral bound soft cover – 68 pages
Many wire wrappers learned their craft from this venerable book. Mostly black
and white line drawings, it does have a color section in the middle. Good,
basic information for the beginning wire wrapper and some nice projects for
most of us.
